I was born in Cali, Colombia on August 1st, a Leo in every way conceivable, conceived by the beautiful Leonor Pacheco and the handsome Hugo Cuevas-Mohr (forgive the blatant bias). My mother was a dedicated anthropologist and a passionate photographer. My father—a part-time consultant and a full-time poet. Creativity flowed in their blood and in their personality. Thus, our family communicated feeling and emotion more through creative modes of expression than though any other means. I remember my first story, at age five, about a lonely tomato.
